The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has approved a new policy framework known as Policy on Conducting Elections in the Context of COVID-19 Pandemic. Imo State Government Shall No Longer Pay Pensions To Ex-Governors And Speakers

The Executive Governor of Imo State , H. E Hope Uzodinma has given assent to a bill repealing the law that created pension allowances and gratuities for former governors, deputy governors, assembly speakers and deputy speakers in the state. Uzodinma signed the bill into law in Owerri on Friday.
