Woman sentenced to death after rape #JusticeforNoura

A court in Sudan has convicted Noura Hussein and sentenced her to death for killing her husband after he allegedly raped her. The sentence was confirmed after the husband’s family had refused compensation. Human rights groups are calling for her conviction to be overturned on the grounds that it was a forced marriage at the age of 16 and she had tried to escape to no avail.
