14 Health Workers tested positive to Covid-19.
14 health workers in Kano State have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus in Kano.
The 14 cases includes seven nurses and 5 medical laboratory scientists.
Murtala Isa Umar, the Chairman of Kano state Chapter of Joint Health Workers Union (JOHESE) revealed the break down of the cases to the press on the 6th of May, 2020.
One medical record officer and cleaner also tested positive for the virus making it a total of 14 cases.
Mr Umar said 168 health workers had been endangered to the virus at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital.
Earlier on Wednesday, it was revealed by the state government that 32 persons had tested positive for the virus in Kano.
The 32 new infections brought the total number of cases documented in the state to 397.
