China Lied; As USA And Beijing Reports Corroborate The Fact That 20.9m Died Rather Than 3.3k Recorded For COVID-19 Related Deaths In China

According to a new data intercepted by the United States, it was revealed that 21 million people died in China from December 2019 to March 2020. This  conclusion was made by US intelligence officials in a classified report for the Trump administration.

The Intelligence report stated that at least 20.9 million of the deaths were linked to the novel coronavirus.

The intercepted data indicates that China underreported its COVID-19 infections and deaths when it corroborated the data released by Beijing authorities.

Beijing announced on March 19 that over 21 million mobile phone accounts in China were closed in the past three months while 840,000 landlines were closed.

Whereas, China had reported little over 81,000 infections with 3,300 deaths.

An earlier intelligence report released by the US that China hid scale of the outbreak was rejected by Hua Chunying, their Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson.

Hua insisted that the country had been “open and transparent” in disclosing the extent of the pandemic. She further accused Washington of shifting blame.

However, US officials stated that the report had been authenticated and it confirmed that the closing of the phones numbers were as result of deaths caused by coronavirus. The report emphasized that;

Cell phones are an indispensable part of life in China and its only closed when the user is dead.”

“The digitization level is very high in China. People can’t survive without a cell phone,” Tang Jingyuan, a U.S.-based China Affairs commentator told The Epoch Times on March 21.

“Dealing with the government for pensions and social security, buying train tickets, shopping… no matter what people want to do, they are required to use cell phones.”

“The Chinese regime requires all Chinese use their cell phones to generate a health code. Only with a green health code are Chinese allowed to move in China now,” Tang said. “It’s impossible for a person to cancel his cell phone.”

China mandated facial scans on 1 December 2019 in order to confirm the identity of the persons who registered phones.

Since 1 September 2010, China had required all phone users to register their phones for identification (ID) purposes. This enables the state to control people’s speech through its monitoring system.

Moreover, the people have their bank accounts and social security details attached to their phones while this is verifiable by the State.

Beijing also launched a mobile based health codes which allows China residents to install an app which registers their personal health information. This app generates a QR code, which classifies their health level; Red indicates infectious disease. Yellow is based on a probability that the holder might have an infectious disease while Green implies the holder have no infectious disease.

China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced the number of phone users in each province on March 19. In Comparism to the previous data released on 18 Dececember 2019 for the data in November 2019. It was quite obvious that both mobile phone and landline users dropped unceremoniously.

While this negates the increase recorded the previous year using the same time span. The report indicates that 21 million mobile phone accounts were closed. The number of mobile users decreased from 1.600957 billion to 1.579927 billion, that is a difference of 21.03. While, landline users dropped from 190.83 million to 189.99 million, with a difference of .84 million.

In February 2019, the number increased. According to MIIT’s announcements on March 26, 2019 and Dec. 20, 2018, the cell phone users increased in February 2019 from 1.5591 billion to 1.5835 billion, which is 24.37 million more. The landline users raised from 183.477 million to 190.118 million, which is 6.641 million more.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, China’s population in 2019 was 4.67 million larger than 2018, and reached 1.40005 billion.

One may assume that the decrease in landline users may be due to the nationwide quarantine in February 2020  as small/medium scale businesses were shut down. However, the decrease in mobile phone users is definitely questionable.
