More Than 50 Members Of The House Of Representatives Allegedly Test Positive For Coronavirus

The House of Representatives today 7 July 2020 adjourned plenary until next week following the news that over 50 legislators may have contracted the novel Coronavirus.

A member of the house told journalists that about 50 of his colleagues had been tested positive for the virus with some of them seriously ill.

According to our findings, many of the lawmakers in both chambers of the National Assembly have tested positive for COVID-19 but refused making it public.

One cannot tell if the recess will stretch to its usual two months due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
