COVID-19 ASIA TO THE WORLD: China Took A Day Off In Battle Against The Pandemic; ZERO INFECTION DAY RECORDER IN CHINA!

China accomplished a milestone in its battle against the dreadful Coronavirus.

Today, China recorded zero domestic infections for the first time since the outbreak emerged, however with a spike in imported cases.

This being a reversal of what is obtainable across the world. Countries have shut down in a desperate attempt to curtail the pandemic. More people getting infected and dying by the day.

According to the National Health Commission, there is no new cases in Wuhan; the central city where the virus first emerged in December. This is happening for the first time since the outbreak and since authorities started publishing figures in January.

The Wuhan residents of about 11 million people were placed under strict quarantine on 23 January. Also, more than 40 million people in the other parts of Hubei province were locked-down in the following days. Whereas, other parts of China also enacted stringent measures to limit public gatherings.

According to the Health Commission, a total number 3,245 casualties resulted in death while there was nearly 81,000 infections in China and 7,263 people remain sick with the Coronavirus.

The global number of infections however, is above 200,000, with more than 8,700 deaths recorded.
