Nigerian Doctors Embark Nationwide Strike Amid Pandemic

The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) of Nigeria has commenced a nationwide β€œindefinite strike” today, Monday 15th of June 2020 despite the upsurge of COVID-19 cases in the country. This disclosure was initially made by Roland Aigbovo, the president of the ARD. The doctors have warned of the impending strike shortly after Nigeria recorded its third case of coronavirus in mid March but later called it off after the Nigerian Medical Association advised them against it.
