The incumbent Executive Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, won the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary. H.E Akeredolu remains the ruling party’s flag bearer for the October 10 governorship election in the state. Over 3,000 delegates voted in the election that lasted for more than six hours between 2 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Monday.
