Warning Of Impending 14 Days NASU Strike

Members of the  Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) threatened to begin a 14-day warning strike in federal universities, polytechnics and colleges of education, over a shortfall in payment of their members’ salaries.   This was made known in a statement released by Mr Peters Adeyemi, the General Secretary of NASU on Monday in Abuja.   Mr. Adeyemi said the non-teaching staff union was protesting the short-payment of its members’ salaries since February 2020 through the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).   According to him,…
