China Successfully Launches Its First Mars Probe

At 12:41 (GMT+8), Wenchang spacecraft launch site in china’s Hainan province launched its first Mars probe called Tianwen-1. Tianwen-1 (known as Huoxing-1, HX-1 during development) 

The probe is excepted to reach Mars at around February 2021.

It’s stated objectives are to search for evidence of both current and past life, and to assess the planet’s environment.

This spacecraft consists of a orbiter, rover and, a rover.
