There is a saying that says the journey of a thousand miles starts with a step. Less than a year ago, when the young looking man but With the old man demeanour Asiwaju Oludotun Adetunberu became the worldwide EKSU Alumni president of our Great institutions EKSU, so many people were of the opinion that would he be able to do it, especially that he was taking the mantle from a Professor who we all believe to have performed excellently. He stated his vision without ambiguity that he would build an ALUMNI VILLAGE WHICH IS THE FIRST IN AFRICA. So many of us didn’t believe until months after he became the President. Things that have not happened in the history of the 36-year-old University started happening. Talking about harmonization of different factions in the body of alumni with the help of our Leader Late Barr. Bankole Ajayirepresenting OSUA, SIR Tolu Egbeyemi representing UNAD and others which I can’t remember their names.
Today is an history making day, As OoniRisa (The man who we yoruba believe is next to almighty God) Came all the way from Ile Ife where everything in life originated from to commission The first Chalet in the Alumni Village to the Glory of Almighty and Ooni-Risa became the life patron of our dear union worldwide. Most interestingly, WE also lay the foundations of Six others Chalets which by God grace would be commissioned when our President clocks one year in office. On the occasion, Some of our Alumni who have distinguished themselves in their chosen Professions were honored and got inducted to the EKSU ALUMNI HALL OF FAME. THEY ARE:
