The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari today presents the 2021 budget to a joint session of the National Assembly. In a letter to both chambers on Tuesday, the president said he will lay the budget before the lawmakers at 11:00 a.m. The event is expected to take about an hour. NDDC: Forensic Evidence Shows that NASS Padded The 2019 Budget

The acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Kemebradikumo Pondei, disclosed that the commission’s 2019 budget was inflated with over 500 non-existing projects. Mr Pondei made this revelation on Tuesday while addressing journalists in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The acting MD, NDDC revealed this while making clarifications on allegations of corruption levelled against the Interim Management Committee (IMC).
