The Edo State House of Assembly Speaker, Francis Okiye, has been removed from office. He was impeached by nine out of the 10 lawmakers on Monday. A High Court sitting in Akure, Ondo state c, on Friday set aside the suspension of four members of the State House of Assembly by the leadership of the House.
