The Nigeria government has evacuated 172 Nigerians from Kenya and Uganda on Wednesday 1 July 2020. This information was shared by Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM). NIDCOM further stated that the Nigerians evacuated from Uganda and Kenya arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 10:20 am. The Nigerian government has evacuated 317 citizens from the United Kingdom as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) disclosed the arrival of the returnees which includes 9 infants on Sunday via its verified Twitter handle.
