Mali: UN Security Council Warns Military Plotters

The United Nations Security Council has issued a stern warning to the Malian military to immediately return to the barracks. The warning came on Wednesday as mutineering soldiers took over the government in Mali as the President, Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, and Prime Minister, Boubou Cisse, were arrested by the soldiers. Refugee admissions to the US are starting up again after a five-month pause due to the coronavirus pandemic. The United Nations Secretary General, António Guterres, has reacted to the massive explosion in Beirut, Lebanon, which has left 73 people dead and 2,750 injured, according to a CNN report.
