Having spent about ten (10) years on the throne of his forefathers, the Chairman Council of Traditional Rulers in Ondo State, His Royal Majesty, Oba Akinruntan has this to say in preparation for his 10 years coronation anniversary:
” Numerous thanks go to Olodumare that has been supporting me since I have ascended my ancestor’s throne as Olugbo of Ugbo kingdom.
Arrangements and preparations are in top gear to mark the 10th year anniversary on throne.
Many prearrangement and traditional involvements are not excluded so as to make the celebration a colourful one. Prayer sessions are being engaged incessantly, and appeasements to the ancestors at the traditional Ugbo shrine are not ignored.
Notable personalities,politicians, business associates and well wishers at home and in diaspora would grace the celebration.
Adequate security measures have been melted out so as to secure lives and properties of the general people at the occasion.
The anniversary would commence official on 7th Nov,2019.It would be fun filled,and comprises of meaningful activities that would pronounce it a remarkable day.
I urge my people to continue to embrace peaceful,mutual and lovely coexistence among themselves so as to ensure a peaceful atmosphere and social developments of Ugbo kingdom.
May the Almighty God,the omnipotent continue to make my tenure a peaceful reign.
