Ekiti State kicks off palliative measures for the vulnerable in all 16LGAs this morning. The first batch is for 20,000 households and will be distributed through a vulnerable families list generated from the World Bank Single Register of vulnerable persons in Ekiti State.

Each pack is specifically for one household and not for a street or community to share. This is the beginning of a series of support for Ekiti residents on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Distribution to beneficiaries will be coordinated by the LG Chairmen, Councillors and the Community Department of the LG Secretariat. They are forbidden to tamper with the sealed package.

Recipients are advised to report any package tampering by calling 0906 297 0468.

Also, the Federal Government conditional cash transfer will kick off in Ekiti State on Tuesday, April 7th 2020.
