Five persons were confirmed dead in the gas explosion that occurred at Baruwa, Alimosho area of Lagos on Thursday. A serving military corporal in Lagos State, Lance Corporal Ajayi Kayode has been arrested for alleged Internet fraud. The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced that international flights will resume on August 29. The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, made this announcement for resumption of flights at the bi-weekly Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 briefing on Monday.
